The Development.

The houses with 3 bedrooms have 2 equipped bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen, lounge, terraces and garden and a sun roof terrace. There is a private garage included in the price. These houses have 86 m² interior and a minimum 62 m² of terraces and garden.

History of Palm Mar.
The village of Palm Mar has existed for many years, yet it became popular in the 80’s when a number of villas were built and the village began to grow. Popularised by foreign residents, who enjoyed the tranquillity of the quiet location, with its light sea breezes and beautiful natural surroundings. There was a period of intense interest from the local government who saw it as an excellent location for building a new town with quality yet affordable housing for the increasing number of professionals working in the local area.
After a number of false starts, Palm Mar finally got underway in the mid 90’s with the thrust of developers Urbis, one of Spain’s biggest Home Builders. Plans were drawn up in 1996 for a purely residential community for this beautiful and very well-situated area.
Several plots were sold at the end of the 90’s to building companies from different European countries. The sale of each plot was irrevocably conditioned with a commitment to build only luxury developments within a very short period of time. These future developments were to have central themes like peace and tranquillity as well as strive to a total relaxation of body and mind. Future of Palm Mar.
There are big plans for the future of the Palm Mar, the coastline will be improved and different proposals have been presented to the Arona Town hall and are awaiting the necessary permits.
Plans have been drawn to install mooring facilities for a taxi boat to take people back and forth to Los Cristianos. Diving facilities are planned for the most tranquil part of the coastline and several natural seawater swimming pools will be constructed into the sea. A deluxe sports club and spa will also be built.
Palm-Mar is to be 100% residential, designed for people who want to come to Tenerife to live in luxury and enjoy the peaceful and natural surroundings. This means no hotels, no loud traffic, no bustling and noisy nightlife as found in Las Américas - although this area is only 10 minutes drive away.
